Finished in white with grey trim. A much sought after and popular medium/large size
van. We sold the van to it’s previous keeper approximately 5 years ago and he’s looked
after it really well, using it in the main for domestic purposes only - he’s even
carpeted it out in the back! Also has a semi-bulkhead. The van would have to be described
as clean inside and out. The van’s features include remote c/locking, ABS, PAS, radio/cassette
player and driver‘s airbag. Obviously the Transit is very spacious inside, providing
plenty of leg room and more than adequate headroom in the cab and vast carry space
in the rear. The sides are panelled and being the 260 variant will carry just under
a tonne. The rear doors have privacy panels (no windows), so much more secure when
leaving items in the back. It also has a side loading sliding door. The locking is
three phase meaning that you can have just the cab unlocked while the back and side
remains locked, cab and side door unlocked with the back remaining locked or just
the back doors unlocked with the rest of the van (cab and side door) locked - making
the van secure for practically any scenario. Also the van can be deadlocked for added
security and the bonnet is key operated. In my opinion the Transit is the best van
in it’s class on the market. With it’s 2.0 diesel engine it drives well and has
good MPG for a van of it‘s size. The Ford Transit is an ever popular van - unbeatable
in terms of practicality, drive and security.
